How do I pair my monitor with the app?

Download the Elarbaby app, create your account, then tap “Add a monitor.” Power on the camera, let it reach its setup glow, and follow the gentle on-screen steps to join it to your 2.4GHz WiFi. Pairing usually takes a minute or two — keep your phone close to the monitor while it connects.

Does the WiFi monitor work when I am away from home?

Yes. Once your Elarbaby View or Elarbaby Duo is connected to home WiFi, you can check in from anywhere with an internet connection — the kitchen, the office or another country. The video stream travels securely to your phone over an encrypted connection.

Will the night vision disturb my baby?

No. Elarbaby uses 940nm no-glow infrared, which is completely invisible to the human eye — there is no red light to wake a light sleeper. You see a crisp, calm picture while the nursery stays perfectly dark.

How does cry detection work?

The monitor listens for sound patterns and uses gentle on-device sensing to tell soft stirring from real crying. When it hears your baby genuinely cry, it sends a calm alert to your phone — so you are notified when it counts, not every time the room makes a noise.

Where is my video stored and is it private?

Your live video streams over an encrypted connection to your own private account, and is never shared or sold. Recordings, where supported, are tied to your account and protected with secure sign-in. You stay in control of who you invite to view your monitor.

Does the Cosy model need internet?

No. The Elarbaby Cosy uses a secure point-to-point 2.4GHz FHSS link between the camera and its parent unit. There is no WiFi, no app and no account — it works entirely on its own, which makes it a lovely choice for homes that prefer to stay offline.

What does the warranty cover?

Every Elarbaby monitor comes with a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects under normal household use. To register your product, simply email us your model and proof of purchase at elarbaby@elarbaby.com and we will take care of the rest.
