Elarbaby is a brand of Shenzhen Yiji Digital Technology Co., Ltd. (深圳市蚁集数码科技有限公司) ("Elarbaby", "we", "us" or "our"). We design gentle, secure baby monitors and the companion software that goes with them. We are the controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

We try to collect only what we genuinely need to keep watch over your little one and to keep your account safe.
When you create an Elarbaby account we collect your name (or chosen display name), your email address, and a password. Your password is never stored in plain text — we keep only a salted, hashed version that even we cannot reverse.
To pair, connect and maintain your monitor we process technical details such as the monitor model and serial number, firmware and app version, your device's IP address, network and signal information, time zone, and a push-notification token used to deliver alerts to your phone.
The most sensitive information we handle is the live video and audio from inside your nursery. This may be streamed live to your authorised devices, and — only if you choose to enable it — recorded as clips. We treat this footage as private to your account.
Where your monitor supports it, we process the room temperature and humidity readings it measures, so the app can show the nursery climate and send a gentle alert if the room becomes too warm, cold or dry.
When you contact us for help, we keep the messages, attachments and contact details you send so that we can answer you and improve our products.
Our website collects very little. Your language preference is stored locally in your own browser so the site remembers it — it is not sent to us as personal data. We use minimal, aggregated analytics to understand which pages are helpful.

We do not use your nursery video or audio to build advertising profiles, and we never use it to train models without your explicit, separate consent.
Live streams between your monitor, our services and your authorised devices are encrypted in transit. You decide who can access your monitor — only the family members you invite, who must each sign in to your shared account, can view it.
The Elarbaby Cosy is different by design: it uses a private 2.4GHz FHSS point-to-point link between the camera and its parent unit, with no internet connection and no cloud account, so its video and audio never leave your home.
For our WiFi monitors, recordings live on the microSD card inside your monitor and/or, only if you choose to enable it, in optional encrypted cloud storage tied to your account. We never sell your footage, and we never share it for advertising.
You remain in control of your recordings. From the app you can delete individual clips, clear stored footage, or delete your entire account along with the data associated with it.
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these limited ways:
Elarbaby is operated by adult caregivers to watch over their own infants. Accounts are intended only for adults aged 18 or over, and we do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. A baby pictured in your nursery is not the account holder — the footage and all rights to it belong to you, the adult who owns the account, and you choose who may see it.
If you believe a child has created an account or provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
We operate globally, so your information may be processed and stored in the regions where our services run, which may be outside the country where you live. Wherever your data goes, we apply appropriate safeguards and contractual protections so that it continues to be protected to the standard described in this policy.
We protect your data with encryption in transit, strict access controls, and secure development and review practices. No system can ever be guaranteed perfectly secure, so you play an important part too:
